Recurring Sun, 2018

This sculpture superimposes six lines of a short poem written in hard-wired LED circuits. Each line becomes legible as each LED circuit lights up, differentiating the words from the unlit LEDs. Loosely based on the operating principle of animated neon signage, this text-based work is intended for display on an outdoor window space or vitrine.
